Car Pulse Tracker
Data & Privacy
Exactly what we measure — and the promises we keep.
We built Car Pulse Tracker to be useful without being nosy. This page explains, in plain language, the only data we ever collect — and the firm commitments we make to protect your privacy.
What we collect
Anonymous, aggregate usage analytics only — and only after you accept cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization turned on.
- The pages you visit (page views).
- Your approximate country — Google resolves this from your IP address; we never store your IP ourselves.
- Which features you use — for example choosing a plan, starting a payment, connecting a Tesla account, downloading a PDF, or switching language.
- Your device and browser type.
Our promises to you
- We will NEVER send you spam or unsolicited marketing messages.
- We will NEVER collect personal data such as your name, postal address, phone number, or banking and credit-card details.
- Payment and card details are handled directly by our payment providers (Stripe). They are never stored or seen by us.
- Analytics run only with your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by declining the cookie banner or clearing the consent cookie.
Transactional data
When you buy a report we generate a receipt so you have proof of purchase. This transactional handling is secure and strictly necessary to deliver what you paid for — it is never used for marketing and never weakens the promises above.
No analytics cookies are set until you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Decline, and nothing is tracked.
