Every charge your Tesla takes leaves a trail of telemetry: power, voltage, energy added, and timing. Read together, those signals reveal far more than the dashboard percentage — they show how healthy your charging is and where you are losing time or money.
The signals worth watching
A single session is described by a handful of numbers. The ones that matter most:
- Start and end state-of-charge — the window you actually filled.
- Energy added (kWh) — what landed in the pack, before losses.
- Peak power (kW) — how fast the session ramped at its best.
- Average power (kW) — the honest speed across the whole session.
- Session duration — wall-clock time, including any tapering.
Peak power flatters a charger; average power tells the truth. A 250 kW stall that averages 90 kW over your session is being throttled by temperature, state-of-charge, or a shared cabinet.

Session S-1042 is a DC fast charge: high peak, high average, lots of energy in a short window. S-1043 is a slower AC top-up — gentle on the pack and ideal overnight. Neither is "better"; they serve different jobs.

Vehicle Overview
Basic details about your Tesla: make, model, year, VIN, trim, odometer, display name, and current vehicle state.
Battery and Range
Current battery level, usable battery, charge limit, rated/estimated/ideal range, and charging state. Also includes Battery State of Health (SoH) and battery capacity in kWh.
Tire Pressure (TPMS)
Tire pressure readings from all four positions with soft and hard warnings.
Charging Activity
Current charging state, charger type, and charge session details. Includes charging history up to 24 months with downloadable invoices and CSV export.
Warranty and Service History
Service status showing whether the vehicle is currently in service mode, plus warranty coverage details with expiration dates and odometer limits.
Recent Alerts
Active and recent alerts from the vehicle, categorized by type: charging, tires, driver assist, and other. Includes alert count, repeated issues, and category breakdown.
Features and Specification
Vehicle configuration details: exterior color, wheels, interior, drive unit, charge port type, and driver assist package. Also includes factory option codes and technical specifications from Tesla's partner endpoint.
Software and Updates
Installed firmware version, pending update status, download progress, and firmware release notes.
Climate and Comfort
Current climate system state including cabin temperature, seat heaters, defrosters, and cabin overheat protection settings.
Interactive Dashboard Visualisations
When you view your report in the online dashboard, several sections are rendered as interactive charts (the same figures also appear in the downloadable PDF). Hover over any chart to read the exact values.
- Battery Health (SoH) gauge - A dial showing the percentage of your battery's original capacity that remains. The needle sits on a colour band (red, amber, green), so you can tell at a glance whether the State of Health is poor, fair, or strong.
- Capacity degradation trajectory - A line chart that plots battery capacity against distance driven and projects the trend forward to the 70% warranty floor. Your vehicle's measured point is overlaid on the modelled trajectory so you can see where it sits relative to the expected curve.
- Charge limit distribution - Horizontal bars comparing your current battery level against your configured maximum charge limit, so you can confirm your day-to-day charge ceiling (Tesla recommends 80-90%).
- Charging session history - Bars showing the energy (kWh) delivered in each recent charging session over time. AC (home/destination) and DC fast-charging sessions are distinguished, with sessions averaging more than 25 kW classified as DC fast charging, because heavy DC use influences long-term battery degradation.

Once you can read a session, patterns emerge across many of them: chargers that consistently underdeliver, times of day when power is shared, and a personal sweet spot for cost per kWh. The report aggregates every session so you stop guessing — you charge where and when the telemetry says it actually pays off.
